Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of public sector bodies' websites and mobile applications
What it asks for
- Content meets the requirements of EN 301 549 (for the web: WCAG 2.1 A and AA).
- An accessibility statement in the prescribed EU model, with a feedback mechanism.
How AccessFold helps
- A statement draft built from real assessment data.
- Scheduled re-assessment and regression alerts to support your own monitoring.
What this does not cover
- Mobile applications.
- We do not file returns with a monitoring body or publish the statement for you.
- EN 301 549 covers more than web content — non-web ICT, software, documentation and support services. AccessFold assesses web content, so evidence maps to its web chapter (clause 9).
AccessFold provides diagnostics and evidence relevant to this framework. It does not determine compliance.
